What It's Like Onboard Rockies to the Red Rocks:

I had the opportunity to do this ride on the Rocky Mountaineer in October of 2023, as they travel through the American Southwest on route from Rockies to the Red Rocks.
I experienced extraordinary landscapes on this two-day journey between Denver, Colorado and Moab, Utah, including vast canyons, inspiring deserts, natural archways, and enchanting hoodoos. I did the SilverLeaf Plus package, including our hosts' impressive service, tasty five-star food, newly renovated lounge car, and so much more. This is an experience that you can take in a slow trip . We overnight in Glenwood Springs, Colorado famous for its geothermal amenities and outdoor adventures, Glenwood Springs is home to one-of-a-kind attractions and is arguably the best destination for Colorado hot springs.

Everyone’s always looking for Europe’s next destination darling. We’ve got you: Just across the Baltic Sea from Sweden, Latvia’s capital, Riga, is home to a storybook medieval city center (a UNESCO World Heritage site), Europe’s highest concentration of art nouveau buildings, and, says LTTravel Connection advisor, huge nineteenth-century boulevards “that feel like Paris” – minus the crowds. “Riga is a layer cake of centuries in one relatively small capital; with so many European destinations dealing with overtourism and long lines for top attractions, it’s a place where visitors can still feel like locals.” Adding to the appeal is a massive food market in century-old military hangars, a world-renowned symphony, and a ballet company where Mikhail Baryshnikov used to dance. Chances are, Riga won’t be flying under the radar for much longer. #asklttravelconnectionhow #lttravelconnection
