Honolulu on this Tuesday Travel Time

Travel Tuesday has us in Honolulu . It is city to escape to for the summer but year round you can travel there. Did you know although O‘ahu is the third-largest of the Hawaiian Islands (after the Big Island and Maui) it’s actually home to about two-thirds of the population of the state. Its capital city of Honolulu seemingly offers beautiful coastlines with white sand beaches and unparalleled surfing opportunities—as well as a bustling cosmopolitan scene featuring international shopping, dining, and urban adventures. Visit Waikiki to explore some of the most famous sands in the world, or hike Leahi, also known as “Diamond Head,” which is an easy bus ride from Waikiki, to soak in panoramic views of Honolulu after a moderately challenging trail route toward the sky. Explore downtown Honolulu, which is home to some of Oahu’s most historic landmarks, and spend the night at Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani which offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, and an infinity pool, a sun deck outfitted with chic cabanas, and an upscale outdoor bar.

Locations with Unique Architecture Some destinations are worth visiting because their buildings tell a story before the guide says a word. Architecture gives a place its shape, character and sense of history. For travelers who love design, culture and photography, choosing a destination with a strong architectural identity can make every walk feel more interesting. Barcelona is one of the world’s great cities for architecture lovers. Antoni Gaudí’s work gives the city a language of curves, color and movement, especially at La Sagrada Família, Park Güell and Casa Batlló. The Gothic Quarter adds another layer with narrow medieval streets, stone façades and bustling plazas. Japan offers a beautiful contrast between tradition and innovation. Kyoto is known for wooden machiya townhouses, temples, gardens and ryokan design, while Tokyo brings bold museums, narrow homes, elevated trains and neighborhoods that change completely within a few blocks. Morocco is rich in architectural detail, from riads and courtyards to zellige tiles and shaded interiors. Greece combines ancient ruins, whitewashed island villages and modern hotels that frame the sea with clean lines. The best architecture trips balance famous sites with time to walk, look up and explore at a slower pace. Our travel advisors can help create an itinerary around design, history and culture, whether you prefer a guided tour, a cruise with strong ports or a custom trip with boutique hotels and local experts. #luxurytravel #adventure #explore #lttravelconnection
